CBRE appointed to manage facilities for Oldham College

CBRE, the global real estate advisor, has been appointed to provide facilities management (FM) services to Oldham College across its 271, 000 sq ft site.

Oldham College, founded in 1893, is a higher education facility providing an extensive range of qualifications spanning financial and professional services, the arts, media, travel, sport, the built environment, commercial and retail services. The College benefits from its excellent location within a 30 minute drive of Manchester and Leeds.

In the last two years the College has invested £22m in its campus resulting in three new state of the art buildings, welcoming over 10,000 students per annum. The College has a main campus, with 17 satellite buildings including:

  •  A library
  •  A gymnasium and sports hall
  •  A high school and primary school
  •  A theatre

Following a competitive tender, CBRE will deliver mechanical and electrical engineering, ground maintenance, landscaping and fabric work for Oldham College.
