CBRE appoints Peter Barber to its UK Shopping Centre team

CBRE, the global real estate advisor, has appointed Peter Barber to its UK Asset Services business as an Operations Manager within its growing shopping centre practice.

Peter will manage the operational requirements for 15 shopping centres in the South of England. He will work to deliver operational excellence across the centres, including securing business development opportunities, supporting onsite teams with risk management, developing teams and maintaining, and monitoring, appropriate supply chain partner support.

Peter has over 15 years of experience managing shopping centres nationwide including Beechwood in Cheltenham, Prospect Centre in Kingston upon Hull and Mill Gate Shopping Centre in Bury. He will report into Carolyn Mantle, Operations Director, UK Asset Services at CBRE.

In total, CBRE now manages over 50 shopping centres in the UK and across EMEA this figure rises to 265.
