CBRE HOSTS INAUGURAL MULTICULTURAL NETWORKING EVENT

CBRE, the world’s leading global real estate advisor has set a new standard for the property industry following its inaugural mutli-cultural networking event last Thursday. Launched last year, the network is the first of its kind in the industry and aims to celebrate differences, and promote inclusiveness and integration across the business whilst supporting individual development.

Keynote speaker CBRE’s Clarence Dixon delivered a thought-provoking speech on diversity in the workplace which was followed by an active panel discussion by Raj Tulsiani, Co-Founder & CEO of Green Park Executive, Natalie Boyd, Finance Partner of K&L Gates, Bola Abisogun, Founder & Executive Director of Urbanis, and Jileen Loo, Head of Asia Desk of CBRE Hotels. The event played host to over 150 attendees, both CBRE and non-CBRE employees. Similarly, CBRE’s Multicultural Network is open to non-CBRE employees and will work with related organisations to further build the business case for diversity.

We are thrilled to have launched the first ever multicultural networking event here at CBRE. The evening was a huge success, and provided attendees with some valuable insight into our cause. By actively promoting diversity and inclusion, and encouraging discussion around it, we strengthen the advantage we offer our employees, suppliers, and the clients we serve. The network has already attracted a significant amount of interest following the evening and we look forward to hosting similar events in the future.
