Fund raising for Naomi House and Jackplace

Three team go head to head store wars across the south

CBRE Southampton communities team challenged staff to raise funds for Naomi House and Jacksplace by going head to head in a south coast store wars competition.

Across seven counties in central southern England, Naomi House and Jacksplace provide respite, emergency, end of life and bereavement care to hundreds of families. Supporting children from birth to young adults of 35 years with life limiting conditions, as well as supporting their families.

14 members of staff in three teams took over the running of the Charity’s stores in Portswood, Romsey and Winchester in a quest to raise £2500 from their efforts in the shop and on line too!. Each team devised a theme for the day:

Party people were in Portswood (Alice Clifford, Amanda Hook, Tom Lawrence and Ghassan Al-Hourani) made their shop a 21st Birthday Party

We’ve got it covered were in Romsey (Liam Small, Katie Bobbett, Nick Tutton, Alex Wills and Minna Rantanen) and based their shop on Children’s Literature

A novel idea were in Winchester (Neville Thompson, Emma Lockey, Hannah Amey, Derek Johnson and Tej Singh) and themed their day on World Book Day.

All three teams exceeded their targets, with team ‘We’ve Got It Covered’ coming out on top.

All three teams had a great day managing the Naomi House and Jacksplace stores, using their chosen themes to dress up and make the most of their team names. Our clients and friends have been so generous in donating, not only money, but some fantastic raffle prizes which made the winners’ day and we are very grateful to everyone for supporting us.
Alice Clifford, CBRE Southampton
We were delighted when CBRE in Southampton offered up their time and bags of enthusiasm to take on the Naomi House and Jacksplace store wars challenge. The charity is currently supporting over 400 families and the support of businesses and the general public are vital for our fundraising. Our thanks to everyone at CBRE.
