LONDON METROPOLITAN UNIVERSITY EXTENDS PARTNERSHIP WITH CBRE

Global real estate advisor CBRE has been awarded a two year extension to its existing contract with London Metropolitan University (LMU), bringing the partnership between the University and CBRE to eight years. CBRE has worked with the University since 2011 and during this time has delivered significant improvements across the University Estate.

CBRE delivers mechanical and electrical services, fabric, helpdesk, energy services, small works and major projects across the Estate. The extension will enable CBRE to continue to deliver best in class service to the University as it embarks on a major change program

Jim Quinn, Building Infrastructure & Maintenance Managerfor the LMU said: “Our decision to extend our relationship with CBRE was based on the results we have jointly achieved over the last few years in upgrading our estate, improving the student experience whilst also striving to meet our key objectives for the future. CBRE has been an important partner in helping us deliver higher than expected CO2 reductions across our facilities, and we remain ahead of plan in terms of meeting our 2020 CO2 reduction targets.”

This extension is a real testament to the value of working in true partnership with our customer to help them deliver on their business objectives. Successful relationships such as this one are tangible evidence of the value of investing in and developing our workforce in order to deliver a world class servic.
