Bigshops Parkboulevard sold to Deka Immobilien

Dura Vermeer Vastgoed and MAB Development Nederland have transferred Bigshops Parkboulevard in Rotterdam to Deka Immobilien on December 20, 2011.

The investment transaction includes 25,000 m2 of shops and restaurants and a large car park with 750 places.

Bigshops Park Boulevard is a retail park located at Vierhavenstraat in Rotterdam West. The retail space is completely leased to well known store chains like Albert Heijn, Etos, Gall & Gall, WoonExpress, Slaapgenoten, Toys XL, Blokker Tuin Bedden Reus, Quantum, Jysk, Xenos, Bruynzeel Keukens, Keuken Kampioen, Pets Place, Action, Piet Kerkhof, Concord Matrassen & Boxsprings, Beter Bed en Brugman Keukens.

Bigshops Parkboulevard is developed by VOF Vierhavens, a joint venture of Dura Vermeer Vastgoed and MAB Development. The construction of Bigshops Parkboulevard was done by Dura Vermeer Bouw Rotterdam. The complex has been designed by van Butzelaar van Son Architecten.

Bigshops Parkboulevard is the first step towards the redevelopment of the Vierhavensgebied. It marks the transformation of a former site in Delfshaven to a new urban area where locals and their guests can work, shop and recreate in a high quality and attractive environment.

On the roof of Parkboulevard Bigshops the city of Rotterdam realizes a unique 8 hectare park, called Dakpark Rotterdam. It is expected to be ready early 2013.

In this transaction VOF Vierhavens was advised by CBRE and Loyens & Loeff. Cushman & Wakefield and Baker & McKenzie acted on behalf of Deka Immobilien.
