CB Richard Ellis announces renewed lease on extended space at academy centre in Aberdeen

Leading property consultant, CB Richard Ellis (Scotland), has announced that it has successfully let a larger, converted space in the Academy Centre in Aberdeen to designer clothing retailer, Attic.

The deal will see Attic, which was already a tenant in the Academy Centre, treble its size by occupying 3,500 sq ft of Royal London Asset Management’s Academy Centre in a new lease in the reconfigured space.

Nick Craig of CB Richard Ellis (Scotland), which acted jointly with Paul Gee on behalf of Royal London Asset Management, commented:

“It’s great news that we are able to announce the renewal of this lease, which forms part of proactive asset management of the Academy Centre by our client. Attic is a highly-regarded retailer and is exactly the kind of tenant that Royal London Asset Management hoped to attract and retain. The Academy Centre provides an ideal location for Attic to continue to grow its business and the refurbishment means it is one step ahead in doing that.”

Please note that FG Burnett acted for Attic.
