CB Richard Ellis Makes Strategic Appointments to its Global Corporate Services Team

London 21 October 2010 – CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) today announced four new hires to strengthen its Global Corporate Services (GCS) team in the EMEA region.

Darren Poole will be the new Account Director for Lexmark. Darren previously advised a large number of corporate clients at Knight Frank and will be based full-time in Geneva.

Pali Palamathanan joins as Global Chief Financial Officer for CBRE’s Nestlé Account. Pali previously held positions at JP Morgan and most recently at Credit Suisse, where he was a Director and Global Chief Operating Officer for the Investment Bank Expense Management Division, responsible for business strategy and financial management.

Alec Munro will be welcomed to the EMEA GCS Finance Team. Alec joins CBRE from VT Group where over the last seven years he has held the positions of Financial Accountant and Financial Controller, and most recently the role of Head of Finance Transformation.

Stephen Smith is appointed to the GCS Facilities Management team as its Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) Director. Stephen joins CBRE after 8 years with ABN AMRO Bank Group, where he was Director - Global Head of Facilities Management & Sustainability, responsible for some 4,700 facilities across 54 countries worldwide. Stephen brings extensive Facilities Management, HSSE, Engineering, Energy Management and Sustainability experience to the team, as well as extensive experience of FM delivery throughout Europe, Russia, CIS, Central Asia, the Middle East, Indian sub-continent, Asia-Pacific and the Americas.
