CB Richard Ellis Scores Two Deals for Orbital House

East Kilbride – 15 October 2009 - CB Richard Ellis Scotland has announced the successful completion of two lettings within Orbital House, on behalf of Kilmartin Property Group.

Goals Plc, which formerly occupied a ground floor suite at Orbital House, has expanded and is taking on larger floor space on the second floor. The 5-a-side soccer centre operator has taken a new ten year lease for the 4,476 sq ft of space. An office fit-out was delivered by CBRE’s Building Consultancy team.

At the same time as Goals Plc was preparing to leave its former unit, CBRE negotiated terms to fill the space it was vacating on the ground floor, signing a deal with renewable energy company RES Group Limited. The company has taken on a ten year lease with a five year break for the 2,695 sq ft suite.

Located at the entrance to Peel Park in East Kilbride, the landmark building is also home to VWS Westgarth, SEPA and British Energy Group. Situated over four levels with an impressive central atrium, the building offers tenants high quality refurbished office accommodation.

Roddy Proudfoot, CBRE's Director in Scotland commented: “The quick succession of these two deals proves that businesses are still looking at expansion despite the challenging current climate. We are delighted that Goals Plc has chosen to expand and stay within Orbital House whilst a market leading brand like RES is coming on board at this property.”

CBRE acted jointly with Ryden on behalf of Kilmartin Property Group and both Goals Plc and RES Group Limited represented themselves.
