CBRE appointed by Nuffield Health

CBRE, the global real estate advisor, has been appointed to provide facilities management (FM) services to Nuffield Health across its 4.3mn sq ft nationwide portfolio spanning 31 hospitals and 77 fitness and wellbeing gyms.

Nuffield Health is a not-for-profit organisation which reinvests its profits to provide a complete health and wellbeing service with the aim of making the nation healthier. It employs 10,000 staff within its 31 hospitals, 77 fitness and wellbeing gyms, 208 corporate gyms, and 4 medical centres.

CBRE will deliver hard FM services including mechanical and electrical engineering, and fabric maintenance for Nuffield Health. This expanded contract has been awarded through the facilities management and technical services business at CBRE. To date CBRE has successfully provided hard FM services to Nuffield Health at its hospitals for 6 years. Nuffield Health has decided to consolidate its supply chain for hard FM services across both its Health and Wellbeing portfolios.

The appointment enhances the CBRE portfolio within the wellbeing, pharmaceutical, and life sciences sector, which earlier this year saw leading pharmaceutical company Aptuit added to its client roster.

David Simmons, Group Property Director, at Nuffield Health

We are confident that the CBRE team are the right organisation to service this need and look forward to building on this relationship.”
