CBRE Building Consultancy appoints new Senior Director Richard Young

CBRE has appointed Richard Young as a Senior Director in its UK Building Consultancy business. In his new role Richard will lead the growth of CBRE Building Consultancy’s investor and developer focused Project Management team.

Richard spent 22 years as Director of Buro Four, and was responsible for 40% of the company’s turnover, securing a large proportion of their major clients and managing client relationships in the office, residential and healthcare sectors. Subsequently he spent a year at Gleeds, helping to focus and build their Project Management team. He has led the project management of many key central London schemes with values in excess of £200m, for key clients such as Derwent, Crown Estate, Great Portland Estates, British Land and Freshwater. Alongside his proven project delivery capability, Richard has an exceptional profile in the London market and very strong client and broader industry relationships.

CBRE Building Consultancy provides a wide spectrum of technical advice, covering every aspect of assessing, developing, occupying, maintaining and adapting real estate assets. The team comprises project and cost managers, engineers, building surveyors and other industry experts like environmental specialists.
