An exciting new partnership between CBRE and specialist technology company Virtual Walkthrough™ will revolutionise the way commercial offices in the UK are marketed to prospective tenants and investors.

Using state-of-the-art technology, potential occupiers and investors, wherever they are based in the world, will be offered 360-degree interactive tours of offices without having to make multiple trips to inspect different properties.

CBRE has secured the technology through an exclusive partnership with Virtual Walkthrough for the next two years, specifically for office leasing, which will provide a significantly enhanced service for their landlord clients.

The use of Virtual Walkthrough is expected to significantly speed up the sales cycle by reducing the need for costly and time-consuming visits particularly by international occupiers and investors.

The move will also transform the marketing of commercial offices, heralding a step closer towards residential property in terms of the level of pre-qualification undertaken online by buyers and occupiers.

Virtual Walkthrough’s interactive 360-degree property tours have already proved a hit in other commercial sectors and can be delivered via tablets and smartphones along with PCs.

Virtual Walkthrough’s true-to-life tours can embed information points detailing key features, present CGIs and promotional videos, giving interested parties a greater understanding of the product and providing deeper engagement of the asset. The immersive HDR 4K, high-resolution technology, can also be used to tour clients around multiple offices online.

Similar to Google Streetview, it’s instinctive to use and has already contributed towards major cross-border deals in the commercial market.
