CBRE further strengthens Debt Advisory team with another senior hire

Global real estate advisor, CBRE has today announced the appointment of Leanne Keyte as a Senior Director in its Debt and Structured Finance team, led by Paul Coates and part of CBRE Capital Advisors.

Leanne joins from Shoosmiths LLP where she was Legal Director in the Banking and Finance team, primarily focused on Real Estate Finance. Prior to that, she spent 17 years as a Senior Director in the Transaction Management team in the Real Estate Finance Department at The Royal Bank of Scotland and has a wealth of experience in the financing of corporate acquisitions, large Residential developments, housing associations, complex investment facilities and corporate funding. She is also a New Zealand qualified lawyer.

In her new role, Leanne will use her strong track record and market knowledge to drive transaction management and efficiency within CBRE’s Debt & Structured Finance team, particularly in the delivery of complex transactions.

So far this year, CBRE’s expanding Debt Advisory business has completed €3.5bn of debt transactions across Europe, equating to more than 45 transactions across a variety of sectors. Leanne’s hire follows the appointment of Matthew Featherstone in February, who joined as an Executive Director.

Leanne’s appointment adds yet another string to our bow as we continue to strengthen and grow our capabilities, both in the UK and across Europe. The team is busier than ever as pockets of liquidity are emerging and the need for debt advisory services intensifies. Leanne’s legal background will be invaluable and help ensure we provide clients with a seamless and professional debt advisory service that our competitors can’t match.
