CBRE Hires Alexandre Astier As Head Of Capital Advisors In Italy

CBRE Italy has hired Alexandre Astier to lead its new Capital Advisors department.

The new Italian Capital Advisors team will advise on all aspects of real estate finance, including structuring or restructuring of investments, sourcing debt and raising equity for both direct and indirect real estate investments.

Alexandre joins from Beni Stabili S.p.A. SIIQ where he spent the last six years in a number of roles including Head of Business Development, Head of Asset Management and Head of Advisory. Furthermore, he was responsible for the strategic and extraordinary activities of the company. Prior to this, Alexandre was head of Real Estate Corporate Finance Italy at BNP Paribas, and started his career as an investment banker in the real estate teams at JP Morgan and Lehman Brothers.

During his career Alexandre Astier been part of some of the most important real estate finance deals in the Italian market: the spin-off of the real estate assets of the Italian telecommunication company (Telecom); the structuring and seeding of the public assets fund FIP (Fondo Immobili Pubblici); the Exchange Tender Offer of Foncière des Régions on Beni Stabili and the merger between Beni Stabili Gestioni SGR, Investire Immobiliare SGR and Polaris SGR. On top of this, Alexandre has managed a number of real estate structured finance operations on behalf of real estate companies (convertible bonds, senior unsecured bonds) and recently the refinancing of the first CMBS launched in the Italian market (Imser Securitisation).
