CBRE Strengthens Operator Selection for EMEA with Senior Appointment

Global real estate advisor, CBRE has today announced the appointment of Giordano Nicoletti as Head of Operator Selection for EMEA, within its Hotels team.

Giordano has developed deep expertise in this long-standing service line at CBRE over the past 15 years, having started his career with the firm as an intern in 2007. He has since worked in wide-ranging roles across the European business from the Rome, Milan and London offices.

Since the early 2000s, CBRE’s Operator Selection team has advised investors across Europe, finding the best operator for their hotels and negotiating the best available terms on their behalf.  Deploying his deep brand, operator and market knowledge, Giordano has been instrumental in CBRE achieving a leading position in the market, with over 40 major operator selection processes conducted every year on behalf of numerous clients, across over 15 geographies in the region.  

In his new role, Giordano will lead the service line that oversees operator selection across Europe. The team advises on a wide range of operating structures including leases, franchise agreements, hotel management agreements and joint ventures. Recent notable deals include The Standard Hotel in Dublin, the Olympia London, the Fairmont Grand Hotel in Geneva and the Tidal Portfolio in Germany.
