CBRE Tops EG League Table for Second Quarter in a Row

London – 23rd October 2009 – CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) has retained the top spot in the central London letting agent league table for the second quarter running, after completing 54 deals in Q3 2009.

CBRE disposed of 865,760 sq ft of space and took a 29% market share in the three months to September, according to EG’s latest London Offices Market Analysis.

Dan Roberts, Senior Director in CBRE’s City Agency Team said: “We have seen increased activity in City leasing in the last quarter with a number of significant deals such as Nomura’s acquisition of 491,000 sq ft at Watermark Place.”

“On the back of this strong demand, the options for large occupiers looking for new space in the City are becoming increasingly limited which should reflect favourably on rental growth as well as providing positive affirmation for those developers who have been brave enough to keep their sites ticking over.”
