Core Development sells redeveloped St. Franciscus van Saleskerk to Heerenstede Vastgoed.

Core Development has sold the 150 year old St. Franciscus van Saleskerk (Hoofdweg 121 in Lijnden) to Heerenstede Vastgoed, the latter purchasing the property for the yet-to-be created fund Heerenstede St. Franciscus van Saleskerk.

The previous owner of the church and the adjacent pastorate has redeveloped the location creating a modern and sustainable office environment; sustainable thanks to an environmentally friendly air-conditioning plant that stores heat and cold and is CO2 neutral. Inside the church consideration has been given to current working preferences by creating quiet areas, concentration rooms and a library. Monumental elements inside the previously Roman Catholic church have been preserved by restoring some handsome stained-glass windows among other things.

The church and pastorate, covering 1,225 m² in total, together with the 41 adjacent parking spaces, has been let to Wortell, T-Question and L & A lawyers. Lijnden is located in the municipality of Haarlemmermeer 10 kilometres from Amsterdam’s city centre and even closer to Schiphol International airport.

In this transaction CB Richard Ellis advised the selling party Core Development.
