New Lettings Instructions in Aberdeen

On behalf of C & L Properties, CBRE has been instructed to market two new office developments close to Aberdeen City Centre.

The buildings, which are to be known as Crathie House and Grove Point, are situated on Holburn Street and Union Grove respectively and will offer occupiers high specification office locations.

Crathie House will extend to approximately 18,234 sq ft and Grove Point will provide approximately 11,860 sq ft. Both offices will comprise modern open plan space and have excellent car parking provision, as well as being ideally placed for access to all staff amenities.

In September this year, planning consent was granted for Grove Point and it is expected that Crathie House will be on the agenda at the meeting of the Planning Committee on 6 November.

Commenting on the proposed developments, Charlie Ferrari, representing C & L Properties, said:

“There is a severe shortage of modern office accommodation in Aberdeen City Centre at present. These premises offer an ideal opportunity for occupiers to secure modern, high specification office space in prominent locations close to the city centre and at rents considerably below the going rate in the west end of the city. Subject to the receipt of planning permission, we intend to commence work on both sites early in the New Year.”

Mike Robertson, Managing Director – Aberdeen, CB Richard Ellis (Scotland) commented:

“We are delighted to have secured these two new prestigious instructions and we anticipate a healthy level of tenant interest. New city centre offices with good car parking are a rare commodity and will undoubtedly prove popular with both professional and oil companies alike.”
