Prezzo to open in Lymington

Restaurant chain Prezzo plc has taken a new lease at 55 High Street Lymington bringing the number of restaurants operating in Hampshire to seven (Alton, Lyndhurst, Port Solent, Romsey, Southampton and Winchester being the other locations). Reporting interim results in September saw Prezzo’s pre-tax profits rise 48% to £4.7m (2006 £3.2m) and it had 105 locations across the UK with a further seven under construction.

CB Richard Ellis acted on behalf of Land Securities Trillium in letting the ground and part first floor of this character property. The building attracted significant competition due to the shortage of retail accommodation in Lymington.

Commenting on the transaction, Senior Surveyor Emma Lockey says:
“Lymington is a great South Coast location and as a result of limited availability of quality retail properties we received heavy demand for this historic building.”

CB Richard Ellis is now marketing the upper floors, which consist of approximately 1,650 sq ft of office accommodation on the first and second floors. This accommodation is self contained and available for immediate occupation.
