Residential property market has been unexpectedly strong
The residential property market has been unexpectedly strong in the first half of 2007. However, rapidly rising interest rates have started to act as a brake on the market. But with the current market momentum, we would expect it to take a few months before the softer conditions fully feed through to lower price growth.
