SCA Hygiene relocates to Trafford Park

SCA Hygiene, which has recently acquired the tissues division of Procter & Gamble for £500milion, has relocated its St Helens warehouse to Trafford Park.

Leasing the 250,000 square foot former DHL Building from xxxxx, the company will use the base to complement its existing manufacturing sites at Wigan and Skelmersdale.

Tom Davis, director of industrial agency at CBRE, commented: "Trafford Park is benefiting from being one of the biggest industrial estates in Europe, with an ideal location close to the city centre and good transport links. The most recent deals there, including Manchester’s, underpins the strength of the market in the North West.

“The most recent deals there, including Manchester’s biggest warehouse deal this year, and rents reaching £4.00 per square foot, as in the case of SCA Hygiene, this underlines another move forward for Trafford Park and shows that the industrial and warehouse markets continue to be buoyant in the North West.”
