SWEDISH FOOTWEAR BRAND EYTYS STEPS INTO SOHO WITH FIRST LONDON STORE

EYTYS STEPS INTO SOHO WITH FIRST LONDON STORE

CBRE, the world’s leading real estate firm, has advised Eytys, the Swedish based footwear-and-apparel brand on its first store in London.

Eytys will make its UK debut with a 1,000 sq ft store at 75 Brewer Street, Soho. The arrival of the first store spearheads the brand’s entry into the UK market.

Established in 2013, Eytys quickly came under spotlight thanks to the cult-following of its staple product; the “Mother” sneaker. In the last five years, the brand has expanded its offering to over 15 new models in a variety of styles and further launched a ready-to-wear collection last year. It currently has a store in Stockholm Sweden, sells online to over 50 countries worldwide, and has a presence in more than 60 concept and department stores around the world.

Paddy McCormack, Director, Central London Retail at CBRE commented: “We are pleased to have secured a store for Eytys’ first venture outside of Sweden. Soho’s central location, and unique heritage presents an excellent canvas for the up-and coming brand to make its mark on a global scale.”

Jonathan Hirschfeld, CEO of Eytys, added: “This is a major step for our brand as we establish ourselves as an international player. As one of the worlds capitals of fashion, London was a natural choice.”
