Veeva Moves to Alkotás Point

Landmark office building in Buda welcomes leading cloud software provider to the life sciences industry as new tenant

Veeva Systems Inc., a leading provider of cloud-based software for the life sciences industry, signed a long-term lease for 1,300 square meters of space in the Alkotás Point office building in Budapest. With this deal the building’s occupancy has increased to over 90 percent. CBRE represented the landlord during the negotiations, while Eston introduced the tenant into the building.

Veeva, globally headquartered in the San Francisco Bay area in California, has expanded its operations significantly around the world in recent years. The company has a strong European presence, with offices in Barcelona, Paris, London, and Budapest. Its customers include both the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies and emerging biotechnology companies. “We are delighted that a company as innovative and pioneering as Veeva has chosen Alkotás Point for its headquarters in Hungary,” commented David Brodersen, Director of Alkotás Office Complex. “This proves how popular Alkotás Point, a true landmark of Budapest is for corporate tenancy.”

“Representatives of both Veeva and Alkotás Point were particularly cooperative during the negotiations, enabling us to conclude the contract in less than two months – a rarity in Hungary for transactions of such scale,” said Judit Varga, Head of Office Agency at CBRE, which acted on behalf of the landlord.

“Our client was looking for quality office space at a prime location, and ready to relocate at the earliest possible time. Alkotás Point not only provided a good working environment, but also offered Veeva the potential for future expansion,” Adorján Salamon, CEO of Eston International, concluded.

“We are honoured to be part of the history of this spectacular city, and truly excited about the expansion of our operations in Budapest,” said Alex Tompa, Practice Manager at Veeva Europe. “Over the past three years, we have tripled the number of Veeva employees in Hungary. Our expansion is a strong reflection of the company’s continuous growth in Europe and ability to attract high-quality talent in areas such as professional services, finance, product support, and product development in Budapest.”
