Vroom en Dreesmann leases 11,100 m² in Amsterdam Zuidoost

Vroom & Dreesmann Warenhuizen has signed a long-term lease agreement with Syntrus Achmea Vastgoed for the ‘White Point’ building on Laarderhoogtweg 25 in Amsterdam Zuidoost.

The building, of natural stone and offering some 11,100 m² of office surface and 218 parking spaces, is to serve as headquarters for the Dutch department store as of 1 January 2009.

V&D first saw the light of day in 1887 and is today a subsidiary of retail group Maxeda. With 62 outlets and over 11,000 staff V&D is the largest department store organisation in the Netherlands. V&D serves around 1.8 million customers every week.

The ‘White Point’ building is being leased out by Syntrus Achmea Vastgoed. CB Richard Ellis and Rietmeijer Huisvestingsadviseurs advised lessee V&D in this transaction.
