INAUGURAL COHORT OF CBRE APPRENTICES GRADUATE WITH FLYING COLOURS

CBRE is delighted to announce the successful graduation of its inaugural group of apprentices who have completed the award-winning CBRE apprenticeship scheme.

The first six apprentices to have graduated the scheme have each achieved a Bachelor of Science with Honours degree in Real Estate Management from Kingston University. Two out of the six apprentices achieved first-class awards. The completion of the five-year apprenticeship programme will enable the apprentices to work towards, and take, their Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) and become qualified chartered surveyors and members of the RICS.

The CBRE apprenticeship scheme was launched in September 2013 and was the first of its kind in the property sector at the time. The scheme was introduced to help widen the talent pool and provide an alternative route into the property industry. CBRE has continued to invest in the apprenticeship scheme which has grown year-on-year and now has 35 apprentices across the business with a further ten apprentices joining in September 2018.

Ciaran Bird, UK Managing Director, CBRE UK
We launched our award-winning apprenticeship scheme five years ago and we are immensely proud of our first graduates. The hard work and commitment from all of the apprentices is commendable. I have a personal belief in apprenticeship schemes and truly believe they offer a fantastic way to widen the pool of talent and diversity entering the property sector.
