CBRE Advises Infinity SDC Limited on Data Centre Business Sale

Global real estate advisor CBRE has acted as financial advisor for Infinity SDC Limited in the sale of its Romford based data centre business to Azrieli Group Ltd. The Share Purchase Agreement has been signed and it is understood that Azrieli Group Ltd will use the acquisition to expand their existing Norwegian based data centre business, Green Mountain.

Infinity SDC Limited operates a best-in-class facility in Romford, East London, with immediate expansion capacity, along with a shovel ready development site adjacent to the existing data centre. The campus has the capability of providing c.40MW of IT load under 10 miles away from the key hubs of the Docklands and City of London.

This acquisition has continued the investment trend into data centre operator businesses. It is a further demonstration that a high-quality management team with substantial growth prospects are highly sought after in today’s market.

With the well-publicised power constraints and high land prices in the west of London, operator and customer demand for new locations with good access to significant power and good connectivity is becoming increasingly important. This acquisition by Azrieli Group Ltd is complimentary to their existing ownerships and provides Green Mountain with immediate access to Europe’s largest data centre market.
