CBRE Bolsters its Retail Team with Another Senior Appointment

CBRE continues to grow its UK Retail Business with the announcement of a key senior appointment to the UK Retail Capital Markets team.

Peter Arduino, formerly of Dawnay Day and Dalgleish, will join CBRE’s UK High Street investment team next January. Peter will be responsible for running the High Street Capital Markets team working alongside Phil Cann and the existing team of Hugo Prince, Ross Hewes and Liz Parsons. Arduino’s appointment forms part of an on-going recruitment drive to further strengthen the UK retail business.

Arduino who was with Dalgleish for seven years, left the firm, prior to CBRE’s acquisition of the niche retail agency in 2005, to join the retail property investor Dawnay Day, where he remained until the company was placed into administration last year. Arduino was a key part of the Dawnay Day retail acquisition programme and, most recently, was involved in a number of German retail transactions, advising UK investors and retailers alike.

Phil Cann, Executive Director, Retail Capital Markets, said: “Peter is well known and highly regarded within the retail sector and will undoubtedly make a substantial contribution to the team and the retail business. His appointment demonstrates CBRE’s continued commitment to creating the best retail team with the best people.”

Commenting on his new appointment, Peter Arduino said: "I am delighted to be joining CBRE the recognised market leader in the retail sector. I am looking forward to the opportunities ahead and building upon the strengths and recent successes of the team. The past four years of client side experience will be invaluable in helping to take our service offer to the next level.”

CBRE’s Retail team is one of the most established in the UK and is a significant part of the UK business.
