CBRE Makes Senior Hire to Equity Placement Team

I am delighted to join CBRE and look forward to working with the team to grow our equity placement business in the UK and Europe. The team currently has a diversified range of compelling investment opportunities and I look forward to supporting those existing clients and helping grow the business further.

London – Global real estate advisor CBRE has announced a senior appointment, strengthening its UK and European equity raising capabilities.

Patrick Bone has joined as a senior director in the market-leading equity placement team, part of CBRE’s Capital Advisors offering.

Patrick has joined from investment manager Schroders where he was the lead fund manager in the capital real estate solutions business. Whilst there, he was responsible for the multi-manager business which included sourcing and underwriting new investment opportunities, structuring and launching new real estate funds, managing relationships with UK intuitional clients and constructing and managing client portfolios.

James O’Neill, Head of CBRE’s UK Equity Placement team, said: “We are exceptionally pleased to have someone of Patrick’s calibre joining our team. His wealth of experience across the UK market will be a major asset to our new and existing clients and allow us to continue providing the best possible advice and outcomes.”

Patrick had been with Schroders for 15 years and was formerly Head of UK Real Estate research.  He is a member of the Investment Property Forum and sits on the IPF Indirect Property Group.
