CBRE MARATHON RUNNERS RAISE OVER £22,000 FOR CHARITY

Thirteen individuals from global real estate advisor CBRE took part in the 2016 Virgin Money London Marathon, raising over £22,000 for several UK charities including CBRE’s UK charity partner, Shelter. CBRE donated over £4,000 to help the marathon runners to reach their targets.

The runners came from across the business and included Alex Fryer (Investment Properties) 03:02:05, Dan Thurlby (Building Consultancy and Planning) 05:03:28, David Mercado (Finance) 03:59:05, Edward Chrimes (Office Leasing) 03:39:13, James Cole (Asset Services) 05:05:18, Jessica Taylor (Asset Services) 04:53:47, Jo Jackson (Valuation & Advisory Services) 03:49:18, Lillie Woods (PJM Occupier Consulting) 04:44:57, Matt Hopwood (Specialist Markets) 03:48:59, Matthew Storr (Capital Projects) 04:46:22, Najia Jones (Valuation & Advisory Services) 04:47:39 Natasha Jackson (BC&P Reinstatement Cost Assessments) 05:57:59 and Richard Scantlebury (Asset Services) 05:02:49.

Completing the London Marathon is no mean feat and I am extremely proud of all our runners taking part this year. We are delighted to be able to support our runners in achieving their targets as well as supporting CBRE’s UK charity partner Shelter.

In addition to the London Marathon, Richard Scantlebury has set himself the sizeable challenge of completing ten marathons in ten weeks. Having started the with the Manchester Marathon in April which he completed in 4 hours 39 minutes, Richard still has another six marathons still to go, finishing the challenge with the ‘Enigma Shaken, Not Stirred Reverse Marathon’ in June. He has so far raised £5700.00 for youth cancer charity CLIC Sargent.
