CBRE Selected as Finalist in Corenet Global 2022 Awards for UK Headquarters Redevelopment

CBRE will now compete for the 2022 H. Bruce Russell Global Innovator’s Award

CoreNet Global has named CBRE as a finalist of its annual global best practice awards for Professional Excellence in corporate real estate for the extensive redevelopment of its UK Headquarters Reimagined | “Realizing the Workplace of the Future” program.

In 2018, CBRE partnered with landlord Lazari Investments and leading design and architectural practice MoreySmith to deliver its vision for a workspace that would provide a blueprint for future office design and more agile working patterns. Experts from over 20 different CBRE teams advised on the project including Project Management, Occupier Workplace Strategy, Planning, Advisory & Transaction, ESG & Sustainability, Digital Strategy, and Facilities Management. The realisation of the redevelopment program of Henrietta House completed in 2021, brings CBRE’s 2,000 London workforce together in a state of the art workplace to better engage with its culture and create a connected workforce benefitting from enhanced collaboration and enablement of post-Covid hybrid working patterns.

CoreNet Global presents the awards each year to leading organizations that demonstrate best-in-class practices in advancing thought leadership in corporate real estate. CBRE will now move on to compete for the 2022 H. Bruce Russell Global Innovator’s Award (GIA). The overall GIA winner will be announced during the CoreNet Global Summit in Chicago, November 2022.

Being recognized as finalists for CoreNet's Global Innovators Award is testament to the hard work, vision and collaborative spirit of our UK team in their drive to create an inspiring and energizing workplace that empowers our people to achieve exceptional client outcomes. The delivery of Henrietta House marks a new era in our industry and a transformative period for occupiers.

Peter Van Emburgh, Global Head of Real Estate at CBRE
