CBRE shows commitment to global capital with new international Capital Markets hire

Global real estate advisor, CBRE, has bolstered its Capital Markets team with the appointment of Brendon Frye. Brendon will join as a Senior Director and will be responsible for coordinating international capital from across the globe into all real estate sectors across the UK. He will report into Chris Brett, Head of Capital Markets, Europe and James O’Neill, Head of Equity Placement, Capital Advisors, working across CBRE’s multi-functional Capital Markets division to support clients with direct and indirect real estate investments.

Brendon re-joins CBRE from Eastdil, where he was a Senior Vice President. Prior to that he was a Director in CBRE’s International Capital Markets team, focusing on Asian capital.

Brendon’s appointment highlights our commitment and confidence in the global capital markets. Following a quick correction in pricing relative to other national markets, we are once again seeing evidence of international capital looking to deploy into UK commercial real estate, including new market entrants, and we only expect this momentum to increase once the economy starts to stabilise. The fact that Brendon’s role will be sector agnostic will enable him to help our international clients deploy capital across the board, both directly through our investment teams and indirectly through our Capital Advisors team.

Chris Brett, Managing Director, Capital Markets Europe, CBRE

Brendon Frye added: “I am looking forward to re-joining colleagues old and new at CBRE and leveraging the firm’s vast global platform to tap into international capital sources. CBRE’s Capital Markets team is the market leader and I am delighted to be taking on this new holistic role that showcases the depth and breadth of the team’s capabilities.”
