CBRE's Charlotte Eddington Shortlisted for 2009 Women in the City Awards

London – 8 October 2009 – CB Richard Ellis’ EMEA Head of Energy and Sustainability, Charlotte Eddington has been shortlisted for the 2009 Women in the City Awards.

The Awards were introduced in 2007 and focus on the achievements of partner and senior management women working in professional services within London's financial hubs (The City, Canary Wharf and the West End). There are seven award categories - Charlotte has been nominated in the Property & Facilities Management section.

Charlotte is one of most successful young women in the UK property industry and was made Director at CBRE age 27, one of the youngest ever within the company. She currently Chairs a number of sustainability working groups and holds committee positions with the CBI, British Property Federation, UK Green Building Council and the Managing Partners Forum. Outside of work, Charlotte has pursued charity interests including undertaking a race to the magnetic north pole.

Category Winners will be announced on 29th October at a ceremony to be held at The Berkeley in Knightsbridge and hosted by Jaguar. The overall winner of the Jaguar Woman of Achievement Award Winner will be made at the Women in the City Annual Lunch on Friday 27th November.
