Groupon moves to the Green Renaissance building of Swiss Life

As of 1st December 2011, Groupon will be on the fourth floor of the Renaissance Green building located on the Jacqmain avenue 135 (Brussels city center).

CBRE has managed to rent the entire fourth floor of the Renaissance building on behalf of the owner, Swiss Life.

The building, located on the Emile Jacqmain avenue has an excellent visibility. It is located in downtown Brussels, on the border of the northern district, 50 meters from the Brussels ring road and is easily accessible by car. The accessibility by public transport is also excellent, as it is 200 meters from the station "De Brouckère", which is served by two metro lines and several trams and buses. The closeness of Rue Neuve (100 meters), Muntplein (300 meters) and Grand Place (500 meters), provides the tenants of the Renaissance building all the facilities, such as sandwich shops, restaurants and other shops on walking distance.

The building consists of 6 floors with 9.894 m² of office space, 348 m² of archives, 488 m² of retail space and 73 parking spaces and is currently fully let. The Renaissance is a HEQ (High Environmental Quality) certified building compliant with the Brussels regulation EBP 2011 (Energy Performance of Buildings) and is as such considered as one of the best technically designed buildings in Brussels. It is owned by Swiss life.

The new and the last tenant of the Green Renaissance building is the international company Groupon. The commercial site of the group-purchases, created by Andrew Masson in 2008, is attended in over 200 countries worldwide. The Belgian branch of the group will leave from the new Groenmarkt December 1st, 2011 to move to his new office.
