Increased activity across corporates prompts expansion of CBRE’s Corporate Valuation team

Valuation new hires

Global real estate advisor, CBRE, has announced three new appointments in its Corporate Valuation Advisory Services team, based in London. Carlo Geldenhuys and James Hodge join as Directors, while Harriet Costello joins as Associate Director.

Carlo most recently led CBRE’s Valuation and Advisory Services business across Sub-Saharan Africa. He brings considerable developing markets expertise and technical valuation skills to the role, which will greatly benefit CBRE’s international clients.

James joins from CBRE’s Cambodia office, where he was Managing Director and led the company’s expansion efforts across brokerage, professional services and property management.

Harriet joins from JLL and adds to the team’s existing UK expertise across a range of asset types and geographies. Harriet brings a strong network of contacts and is active on a number of key industry committees including Surveyors Livery Light, the Oxford Brookes Real Estate Management Society and London Young Professionals.

With more than 40 years of combined experience, the trio will complement the established Corporate Valuation Services team’s existing expertise, which focuses on the delivery of specialised real estate valuation solutions and advisory services for corporate occupiers.

We are excited to have been able to secure three new team members in Carlo, James and Harriet. They join us at a time of real opportunity, driven by the rapid surge in M&A activity we have been witnessing, as well as the growing demand from corporate occupiers to report the value of their real estate holdings. With a growing pool of talent, we look forward to continuing to drive results for our clients and expand our service offering.
