John Atkins joins CBRE to lead EMEA Advisory Project Management Services

CBRE has appointed John Atkins as Head of Advisory Project Management (PJM), EMEA, based in Frankfurt. John will be responsible for leading a team of over 1,300 project management professionals, driving growth, and implementing the Global Project Management strategy of delivering world class products and services to our clients.

With a career spanning more than 25 years, Mr. Atkins joins CBRE from global design, engineering and management consulting firm Arcadis, where he held several leadership positions of increasing responsibility; the most recent being Global Solutions Director and Leader of Programme Management, responsible for coordinating a wide range of client solutions for some of the world’s largest, most complex and iconic programs of work.

John has an MBA from Henley Management College and brings a wealth of regional and global experience in capital investment planning, programme management, sector, and account leadership as well as a background in digital transformation. A UK-native, tri-lingual in English, German and Dutch, John has spent most of his 28 years in Europe, residing in Germany.

John succeeds David Hitchcock, who retired last month following a successful 35-year career with CBRE.
